Registration and Enrollment
Annual enrollment for the Pokagon K-12 programs begins each year in August and continures throughout the school year. Funding for the K-12 programs is supported through tribal funds and from federal grants from the Johnson O'Malley Program (Bureau of Indian Education) and the Title VII Program (Office of Indian Education).
Students residing in the ten-county service area (in Michigan: Allegan, Berrien, Cass or VanBuren counties, or in Indiana: Elkhart, Kosciusko, LaPorte, Marshall, Starke and St. Joseph counties), please complete the JOM Application and the Title VII Form.
Students residing outside the ten-county area or attending a private school, please complete the OTC Application.

Backpacks and School Supplies
Students recieve a backpack or duffle bag along with grade-appropriate school supplies when registration is complete
Eligibility
All Pokagon youth in grades Pre-K-12th grade and all Native American youth from federally-recognized tribes residing in the ten county service area attending public school. Eligibility also includes Native American youth from state-recognized tribes residing in the ten county service area attending a school district with at least ten students eligible for the Title VII funding (these school districts may change annually).
Enrollment Process
Parents/guardians of eligible students must provide proof of child's tribal membership (copy of tribal ID card) and complete annually one of the following forms:
- Application for Pre-K-12 Services in ten county area
- Application for Pokagon students in non-public schools or outside of the ten county service area
