Family Welfare Commission
The care and custody of Pokagon Band children are vital to the continued existence and integrity of the Band, and the welfare if its children are of paramount importance. Therefore, the Pokagon Band Family Welfare Commission was established for the purpose of working with the Pokagon Band Tribal Council, Tribal Court, Department of Social Services, and when appropriate, state judicial and administrative bodies, with regard to child welfare matters.
