Detective Slancik was hired by the Pokagon Band Tribal Police Department in February of 2012.

Purpose and Objective of the Detective Bureau
The goal of the Detective Bureau is to provide professional and effective investigative services to the Pokagon Band Tribal Citizenry as well as individuals who visit the Pokagon Band’s sovereign nation. This includes the apprehension and successful prosecution of criminal perpetrators, as well as the recovery and return of stolen property. The primary functions of the Detective Bureau are the investigation of criminal activity, collection and preservation of evidence, and court room testimony. The Detective Bureau works closely with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as well as local law enforcement agencies to accomplish this goal. The Detective Bureau is highly dedicated and motivated in investigating and solving all reported criminal cases.
Complaint/Victim Follow Up Information
If you have filed a complaint or reported a crime to the Pokagon Tribal Police Department and wish to follow up in regards to your report, please contact the Police Officer who originally took the report. Provide the Officer with the complaint number of the report you are referencing. Be prepared to give additional information about the incident to the Officer as needed. The Officer may refer you to the Detective Bureau for follow up, depending on the incident. Both the Patrol Division and the Detective Bureau can be reached at the main station number (269) 782-2232.
