    He is currently stationed at the Watervliet/Hartford post as a Road Patrol Officer.

    He is currently assigned to the Dowagiac Post as a Road Patrol Officer.

    Recruit Eric Shaer

    Recruit Shaer is a Pokagon Tribal Citizen and began the Tribal Police Recruit Program in February 2012.

    He has attended Southwestern Michigan College where he was on the Dean's list, Lake Michigan College part time in the summer, and Kalamazoo Valley Community College where he maintained a 4.0 GPA in working towards his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. 

    Recruit Shaer has also interned for the Police Department and starts the Law Enforcement Academy in April of 2012 and will graduate in August 2012.

     

     

    Recruit James Ivy

    Recruit Ivy is a Pokagon Tribal Citizen and began the Tribal Police Recruit Program in February 2012.

    He proudly served our country as a Lance Corporal/Squad Leader in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years, stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    Recuit Ivy begins the Law Enforcement Academy in April 2012 and will graduate in August of 2012.
