Homeowner Programs:

Home Ownership Program  

Provides opportunities to eligible Pokagon Band citizens to purchase their own homes through down payment and closing cost assistance. The Pokagon Band Department of Housing and Facilities will provide down payment assistance up to $30,000.00 and closing cost assistance up to $2,500.00.

 ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  

1. Must be an enrolled Pokagon Band citizen 18 years old or older, a non-Pokagon citizen who has custody of minor Pokagon Band children in the household or a Pokagon Band citizen who is an emancipated minor.
2. Be within the Low Income Guidelines 
3. Applicant must have a credit score of 620 or above.
4. Complete homeownership classes.
5. Pass a home inspection by Housing's Building Official.
6. Loan must be 30-year or 15-year fixed.
7. Home must be located within the 10 County Service Areas 
8. Is not in debt to the Pokagon Band.
