Rental Programs:

Rental Assistance Program (with the exception of students)

Provides opportunities for eligible Pokagon Band Citizens to afford a safe and decent rental unit. The Department of Housing and Facilities will provide a monthly rental subsidy up to $250.00 for a maximum of 3 years.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Must be an enrolled Pokagon Band Citizen 18 years old or older, a Non-Pokagon Band Citizen who have custody of minor Pokagon Band children in the household or a Pokagon Band Citizen who is an emancipated minor.             
2. Be within the Low Income Guidelines   
3. Agrees to comply with the Household Plan of Action, including attending mandatory monthly meeting, financial management and budgeting classes.
4. Live within the 10 County Service Areas   
5. Rental must pass rental unit inspection preformed by the Housing & Facilities Department.
6. Is not in debt to the Pokagon Band.
