The Communications Department is responsible for the writing, editing and designing of tribal publications and assisting tribal government entities and departments with writing, editing, designing and printing brochures and other printed or digital communication pieces.
Staff report on news and events about the tribe and its different departments in a monthly newsletter, called the Pokegnek Yajdanawa. The Legislative Edition is its counterpart, and it features Tribal Council, Elders Council, and Gaming Authority minutes. These newsletters are mailed to all citizen households.
