184 Loan Program

This provides Pokagon Band citizens the opportunity to obtain conventional loans from private home lenders by guaranteeing the loans through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development or other federal or state agencies by the 184 Loan Program.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Must be an enrolled Pokagon Band citizen.
2. Lender must participate in the Home Loan Guarantee Program.
3. Agree to attend counseling as required by the Housing & Community Development Department and/or lender.
