John McClellan
Economic Development Officer
The Pokagon Development Authority (PDA) is proud to welcome John McClellan as our first Economic Development Officer (EDO). John brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to this new role, and he has already expressed his excitement about joining the team and contributing to the growth and prosperity of the Pokagon Band. John, a proud member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, grew up in northern Michigan and served honorably as a Marine Corps Veteran from 2003 to 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of The Incarnate Word and a Master of Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University. With eight years of experience in tribal economic development, John has a proven track record of fostering growth and creating opportunities for tribal communities.
