Temporary Program for Lodging Establishment Reimbursement (TPLER) Program

The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians Department of Housing has a new COVID-19 program, “The Temporary Program for Lodging Establishment Reimbursement Program.”  The Program was established to help Citizens inside and outside the service area that need temporary  lodging while quarantining due to COVID-19 or are homeless.  The Program will reimburse eligible applicants  up to $75.00 per day, for no more than 30 days for lodging.  The Program is subject to funding and may end at any time. 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Pokagon Band Citizen  18 yrs. or older
  • Must meet HUD Low-income Guidelines
  • Must not have previously participated in the Pandemic RV or Hotel Programs
  • Receipt from lodging establishment cannot be older than 30 days and must be for a consecutive  stay.
  • If quarantining due to COVID,  households can participate more than once up to the maximum days of 30.
  • If homeless: can only participate in the program once.
