Earlier this year, the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis, Ind. acquired more than 400 historic objects made by Indigenous peoples in the Great Lakes area. Because the collection includes dozens of items of appliqué, dedicated participants of Kë Wzhetomen Mizhathëwen, regalia making class, visited the Eiteljorg to see some of these items in person.

With four tracks, five panelists, one key-note speaker, four award recipients, 16 breakout sessions, 20 vendors, and 130 participants, Mno-Bmadsen is proud to announce the inaugural economic event a success.
The 2019 Thanksgiving food distribution is approaching. Elders boxes will be distributed first, from Friday, November 22 through Monday, November 25. The hours of distribution are:
November 22: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
November 23: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
November 24: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
November 25: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After November 22, dates and time are dependent on availability.
For citizens under 55, turkey distribution will be Sunday, November 24 through Wednesday, November 27 at the Commodity Building. Hours of distribution:
