Recover your purpose: Peer Recovery
The Peer Recovery Coach program is an intensive, community-based case management program for people who have entered an addiction treatment program, been screened for treatment, or been placed on a waiting list, if applicable.
The program is designed as an integrated component of a comprehensive addiction treatment program. The primary purpose of the recovery coach program is to help individuals in addiction treatment gain access to needed resources, services, or support to help them recover from their substance use disorder.
Our Peer Recovery Coach, Michelle Engel, has a unique background and skill level from her experience in utilizing services and supports to achieve her personal recovery goals, thereby instilling a greater sense of community membership, independence, and productivity.
